There is something so beautiful about a well designed room with dark walls. It immediately makes the room feel more sophisticated. Anything you end up putting on the walls pops that much more. Dark walls can manifest in the form of one accent wall or painting the whole room. We obviously prefer the latter.
(image) We recently shared this image in our "Spruce Up Your Space for 2015" blog post and it was definitely a fan favorite. This Marsala color is nothing to joke about. After all, it was named 2015 color of the year.

(image) Navy walls and linen sofas... say no more. The great thing about painting your walls a strong color is that you don't necessarily need to put art up to make it feel complete.
(image) This bathroom is heavenly from head to toe. The green walls with the copper soaking tub and the wood floors are the perfect combination.
(image) Here is an example of painting one feature wall. You can see how it can make a huge impact without committing to a whole room of dark color.
(image) We love how this room is styled. The linens play off the same hue on the wall and matched with the rustic wood furniture actually makes this room feel quite neutral. Lovely all around.
