Stripe Design Services is hiring! We are seeking a freelance interior designer to work as part of our small team. This role would be supporting the development and delivery of ground-up commercial and residential projects under the supervision of the design team. This is a great opportunity for advancement in your creative career with potential for growth within the company. We work with reputable clients in Santa Cruz and all over the Bay Area. This position will start out at 2 days with the view of developing into a full time position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in interior design or equivalent experience
-Proficiency in: -Autocad/Revit/SketchUp (or similar 3D software)
-Knowledge of graphic design programs a plus
-Good professional written and verbal communication skills
-Creative problem -solving, organizational, self-motivating, and good time management skills
- Candidate will need own laptop & software
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Sorting Samples
-Putting Bids together
-Office management
-Collating project information
-Support the design team in project design and production
-Draft to-scale floor plans
-Render full color elevations & 3D models
-Value engineer and price out projects
-Communicate and coordinate with clients
-Research materials, products and systems
-Produce presentation materials for client presentations
-Distribute project deliverables (drawing sets, correspondence, submittals)
-Other duties as assigned
