Ian Bell is an acoustic singer/songwriter originally from London England who now lives in Santa Cruz California.
A singer-songwriter said to have a poet’s heart and a workingman’s delivery, Bell in top-form showcases his tastefully-understated guitar style, expressive lyrics, and dynamic singing. It has been said there is something extraordinary in the way he crafts layered and timeless songs, with minimal instrumentation, using the ebb and flow of his voice which ranges from whispered confessions to room-filling proclamations.
Bell has previously released two EPs “Chameleon Skin” 2011 “The Day You Stopped Dancing” 2012, followed by a single “Fat Cats” in 2012. He followed this with a full length Album in 2013 “Red Wine And Tears” and then in 2014 released a live album “Live At The Wrigley” a live performance captured at the old Wrigley factory in Santa Cruz. Bell is currently working on a new Full length album that will be released in the fall.
